Setting Goals / Reaching Dreams

Goal Setting

Setting Goals / Reaching Dreams

Things I will do to Reach My goals

I will design a “Goal Agreement with myself for any goal, no matter how small or large.
My goal Agreement will be written down and I will date the “Goal Agreement” with the starting date and completion date for each goal.
My goal will be described in detail.
All of my Goal Agreements that have not been completed will be read in front of the mirror every day with a lot of enthusiasm.
When a goal is reached, I will sign the Goal agreement.
I will always remember, I CAN BE AS GREAT AS ANYONE. I will have a plan.
I will make sure my goals go together.
My goals will be something I want so much that I’ll be excited to do the work it takes to get it done.
Setting goals is very important to me. It’s not a joke or silly. I know I can’t reach a place I want to go if I do not know how to get there.
I choose to take the goals very seriously no matter how small each goal is.
If I want my life to change, I understand I have to change, or I will stay just about the same as I am right now.

Time Management

How to plan your day

Start the day before
Make out a list of what you want to accomplish
Prioritize the list in order of importance
Start with #1 and work down the list – IMPORTANT-don’t worry about finishing everything on the list and don’t work at your list in a hurried and crazy pace!
Don’t get distracted by others – your goal is not to be busy but productive.

Track your story – Develop the life you desire

What is really important to me in my life?
What specifically would be my ideal life?
What is a major accomplishment I created that I didn’t think I could accomplish before I began?
What SPECIFICALLY did I do to accomplish it? (When you remind yourself of all the many things you have done well, you will feel much more confident about taking on any new tasks.)
List 100 Goals
How can I help others, knowing when I help other people get what they want, then I will get what I want.
How can I think POSITIVE THOUGHTS more frequently, knowing that the power of a focused mind will direct me to more effective actions and therefore, better results?
What am I most grateful for?
When I leave this earth, what do I want to be remembered for?
What inspires me and what would I really do if money were not a concern? BE SPECIFIC

Live Your Dream - I’m good enough. I’m smart enough. And, by gosh, I deserve it!!

Your dreams

The things that hold you back are finite and limited, yet the dreams that push you forward have no such limits. No matter how formidable the problem may be, you can always find an even stronger reason to move resolutely ahead.

In fact, when the obstacles seem too great, too daunting, that's the time to reach even higher. Make your dreams bigger and more compelling than your difficulties.

It is never unreasonable to expect the best of yourself. For the greatest achievements are reached when you have a real and meaningful reason to reach them.

There are countless possibilities available to you at this very moment. Choose to follow the ones that enliven your spirit, spark your imagination, and inspire your heart.

Dream big dreams, ones that truly mean something to you. Let yourself be filled with their positive, infectious energy. Then delight in the journey as you follow the steps that will make them come true.
